Electronics Verification Internship

Ansys is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Verification Intern to join our team for the summer of 2025. As a Verification Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform functional, application, regression, and performance testing in manual and/or automated test environments.
  • Investigate possible causes of problems and apply standard techniques and procedures.
  • Work in a variety of computing environments, including Linux and Virtual Machines.
Requirements:
  • Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with electromagnetics, electric motors, power electronics, thermal/structural analysis.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Ansys product portfolio, especially Ansys Electronics Desktop.
  • Knowledge of programming and scripting languages, such as Python.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with electromagnetics simulation tools.
  • Familiarity with analysis tools, such as Ansys Maxwell.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
