Metal Fabrication Specialist at IZA Design and Manufacturing

We are a dynamic manufacturing company seeking an experienced Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for operating various metalworking machines, ensuring high-quality products, and maintaining a safe work environment.

**Salary:** $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

**Job Responsibilities:**
• Operate metalworking machines, including cutting, bending, rolling, reaming, punching, drilling, welding, or other shaping operations.
• Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and specifications.
• Lay out, set up, and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines.
• Document work completed and investigate problems to fix or make minor repairs.
• Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
• Work under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a metal fabrication industry.
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant certifications (e.g., Overhead Crane Certification, Forklift Operator Certification).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, judgment, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle physical demands, including standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs).
