Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at IZA Design and Manufacturing. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce high-precision metal parts and components.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Operating laser cutting machines to cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products;
  • Checking products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications;
  • Documenting work completed and investigating problems to fix or make minor repair;
  • Laying out, setting up and operating one or more light or heavy metalworking machines;
  • Reading and interpreting specifications or following verbal instructions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in metal fabrication and laser cutting;
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately;
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and follow verbal instructions;
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods;
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
