Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.
Key Responsibilities- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and addressing any issues promptly.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management decisions.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Criminal record check.
- Own transportation.
This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk as part of their daily duties.
