Job Description

The Purchasing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and efficient acquisition of materials and supplies at our Head Office. Key responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and services aligned with hotel requirements
  • Negotiating with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms
  • Preparing and processing purchase orders, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Maintaining and updating supplier records and databases
  • Liasing with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolving any issues
  • Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with relevant departments to meet demand
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing procurement processes
  • Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years prior experience in procurement, preferably within the hotel industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems is an asset

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with your experience.
