Job Title:

Purchasing Coordinator

 

Manga Hotel Group is a leading Canadian company in the hospitality industry, with a strong focus on quality and excellence. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with prestigious brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and InterContinental Hotel Group.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $60,000 - $80,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and services in line with hotel requirements.
  • Skillfully negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain and update supplier records and databases.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to meet demand.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support.
  • Maintain office supplies and manage the office environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years prior experience in procurement, ideally within the hotel industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems is a plus.
