Personal Support Assistant

About the Role: As an Attendant Care Worker with Traverse Independence, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities or brain injuries to live independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families to ensure high-quality care.
- Update records using computer skills and maintain confidentiality.
- Travel to clients’ homes using reliable transportation.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in providing personal care to individuals with disabilities.
- Personal Support Worker certificate or equivalent experience.
- Computer skills for charting and record-keeping.
- Flexible schedule and reliable transportation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Valid Level C CPR/Standard First Aid Certification.
