Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC band saw operator to join our team at Top Quality Lumber Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts
  • Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions to ensure accurate production
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to maintain optimal performance
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in woodworking or a related field
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and follow verbal instructions
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced production environment with a team of experienced woodworking professionals. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 30 to 40 hours per week.
