Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Congregation Beth Israel. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a tidy appearance.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to keep our spaces clean and comfortable.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to our guests and staff.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Handle and report lost and found items to our guests and staff.
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed to maintain our facilities.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to ensure a clean and well-maintained appearance.
Requirements:
  • Will train
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
