About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Spring Living. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Prepare and serve meal trays, and assist patients with feeding
  • Transport patients between care facilities, using wheelchairs or stretchers as needed
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, and maintain a safe and clean environment
Work Environment

As a Nursing Assistant at Spring Living, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. You will be required to work under pressure, and be able to distinguish between colors. The role involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and requires a high level of physical fitness.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
