Job Title: Glass Cutter

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Glass Cutter to join our team at YYC Closets and Glass Ltd. As a Glass Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting glass to precise specifications using various hand tools and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate glass cutting machines to cut glass to precise specifications
  • Use hand tools to cut glass along marked outlines or around patterns
  • Examine and mark defective glass to obtain the best cut
  • Smooth rough edges using belt sanders or smoothing wheels

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
