Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Reliability and Availability Specialist to join our Digital and Integrated Systems team. In this key role, you will lead RAM activities for the GO Expansion project, ensuring the reliability, maintainability, and availability of our solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coordinate, and perform all RAM Assurance activities on the project
- Ensure the correct application of Alstom standard RAM Process, Methods, Tools
- Develop RAM outsourcing capabilities as needed
- Commit to Quality Cost Delivery for Tenders, Projects, and Programs RAM activities
- Guarantee the high level of quality of RAM activities and deliverables
- Execute RAM activities on some tenders, programs, and projects
- Provide RAM technical expertise, review RAM issues, and support the root cause analysis process
- Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction and RAM acceptance
- Support the development of RAM métier across the AMERICAS region
- Implement Alstom D&IS RAM rules, guidelines, and animate the growth of the RAM discipline locally
- Act as the Local RAM Process Correspondent for Canada
Requirements:
- Advanced University or Engineering degree in Dependability (RAM or RAMS)
- At least 5 years of successful experience in RAM assurance (projects and/or programs), preferably in Railway Signaling
- Specific hands-on experience in RAM and Mastering RAM methodology and principles
- Organized, structured, and good ability to decide
- Ability to support the team when needed and to support/elaborate plan/solution to deliver
- Ability to drive activities performed by others (subcontractors, suppliers)
- Problem setting and problem-solving
- Good competencies in RAM assurance, methods, and tools
- Fully proficient in English
