Job Summary:

Adecco Canada is seeking a skilled Counterbalance Operator to join our team in a dynamic warehouse environment. As a Counterbalance Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials within the warehouse, utilizing a counterbalance forklift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for moving materials within the warehouse, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform a variety of physically demanding duties, including manually loading and unloading goods, and operating a slip sheet to unload containers.
  • Load and unload trucks, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Must be comfortable driving and working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Valid counterbalance forklift certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse environment.
  • Previous warehouse experience and ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Experience with slip sheet is an asset.
  • High energy and ability to follow processes.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with staff and outside drivers in dispatch.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
