Job Summary:

We're seeking a seasoned Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our manufacturing facility. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of production processes, maintaining a safe working environment, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of production workers to achieve optimal productivity and quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations, and take prompt action to address any safety concerns.
  • Manage employee time and attendance, including entering and revising timecards, requesting vacation, and approving employee requests.
  • Conduct regular shift meetings to drive a culture of safety, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the Plant Manager to ensure necessary staffing and supplies for the achievement of the manufacturing schedule.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Provide ongoing training and development for team members to build skills and encourage career growth.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems quickly and effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive work environment.
