Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for interpreting diagnostic images and providing expert radiology services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret diagnostic images, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
  • Provide expert radiology services to patients, including emergency and routine imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License.
  • Provisional.
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
  • Mandatory.
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC).
  • Eligible.
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation package.
  • 13 weeks of vacation leave.
  • May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including:
  • Retention Premium: 11.48%.
  • Retention Flat Fee: $17,790.
  • Relocation Funding Available: $9,000 if moving within BC, $12,000 within Canada, and $15,000 from outside Canada.
  • Recruitment Incentive: $15,000, prorated for physicians working less than full time.
