Management Systems Coordinator Role

Job Overview
The Integrated Management System (IMS) Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring that our management systems, aligned with CSA and ISO standards, are effectively implemented and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Certification Preparation: Assist in preparing and maintaining our company for IMS certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, as well as CSA A660-10 and CSA A277-16.
- Policies and Procedures: Ensure the implementation of policies and procedures necessary to meet our objectives and compliance standards.
- Internal Audits: Conduct or assist in internal audits to evaluate compliance with IMS standards and recommend improvements.
- Training and Awareness: Promote awareness of IMS standards and company policies through training sessions and presentations.
- Documentation Management: Maintain and control records and documents related to the IMS, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.
- Reporting: Produce regular updates and reports on the IMS for relevant staff, including quality non-conformance reports and calibration reports. Maintain a safe work environment by observing and following standards and procedures; complying with regulations and codes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience in lieu.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an IMS Coordinator is required.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in IMS preparation and implementation is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, proficiency in MS Office applications, and the ability to work independently.
- Internal auditing qualifications and familiarity with ISO and CSA standards are beneficial.
- Technical aptitude, ability to read blueprints, and knowledge of MS Office applications (including SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Physical Demands:
- Must stand for long periods, with frequent lifting up to 50lbs.
- Able to work in all weather conditions, including outdoors.
- Bending, crouching, kneeling, lifting, tight spaces, and ladder use.
- Wearing PPE such as safety boots, safety vest, safety glasses, and gloves.
