Position Overview: The Integrated Management System (IMS) Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring that a company's management systems based on but not limited to applicable CSA and ISO standards (CSA A660-10, CSA A277-16, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018) are effectively implemented and maintained.

Key Accountabilities:

  • IMS Certification Preparation: Assist in preparing and maintaining the company for IMS certifications such as ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), CSA A660-10, CSA A277-16 and any other certification as requested
  • Policy and Procedure Implementation: Ensure the implementation of policies and procedures necessary to meet company objectives and compliance standards
  • Internal Audits: Conduct or assist in internal audits to evaluate compliance with IMS standards and recommend improvements
  • Training and Awareness: Promote awareness of IMS standards and company policies through training sessions and presentations
  • Documentation Management: Maintain and control records and documents related to the IMS, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible
  • Reporting: Produce regular updates and reports on the IMS for relevant staff incl but not limited to quality non-conformance report, calibration report etc. Maintain a safe work environment by observing and following standards and procedures; complying with regulations and codes. Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Fero Code of Business Conduct.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent experience in lieu.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an IMS Coordinator is required
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in IMS preparation and implementation is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, proficiency in MS Office applications, and the ability to work independently
  • Internal auditing qualifications and familiarity with ISO and CSA standards are beneficial
  • Technical aptitude, ability to read blueprints with knowledge of MS Office applications (including SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

Physical Requirements:

  • Must stand for long periods, with frequent lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Able to work in all weather conditions including outdoors.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, lifting, tight spaces and ladder use
  • Wearing PPE such as safety boots, safety vest, safety glasses and gloves.
