We are seeking a highly skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at 21 Century Trading Inc. as a Procurement Specialist. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in procurement and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain Optimal Stock Levels
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining adequate stock levels to meet the demands of our customers. This involves analyzing sales data, forecasting demand, and adjusting inventory levels accordingly.
Negotiate with SuppliersThe Wholesale Buyer will negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements with suppliers to ensure the best possible deals for our company.
Oversee DistributionAs a Procurement Specialist, the candidate will oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Review RequirementsThe successful candidate will review the requirements of our establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, taking into account factors such as quality, price, and lead time.
Supervise Other BuyersThe Wholesale Buyer will supervise the work of other buyers, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our procurement process.
Work EnvironmentThis is a permanent position that requires a strong background in procurement and supply chain management. The successful candidate will work 30 to 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.
