About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at 21 Century Trading Inc. as a Procurement Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining adequate stock levels, negotiating prices and credit terms with suppliers, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Inventory Management
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records to ensure optimal stock levels.
    • Negotiate prices and credit terms with suppliers to ensure the best possible deals.
  • Supply Chain Coordination
    • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any issues or concerns related to delivery or quality.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise the work of other buyers to ensure seamless execution of procurement tasks.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Business Acumen
    • Review the requirements of our establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
    • Make informed decisions about procurement strategies to ensure the best possible outcomes for the company.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
