Job Summary

Zahid Butt Inc is seeking an experienced Automotive Body Shop Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our body shop, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our body shop team, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare and review production reports to ensure that our team is meeting productivity and quality targets.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure that our body shop is running smoothly and that all work is completed on time.
  • Train and develop our body shop team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed in the body shop, and that our team members are aware of and comply with these regulations.
  • Recommend personnel actions, such as promotions or disciplinary actions, to ensure that our team is motivated and performing at its best.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies as needed to ensure that our body shop has the resources it needs to operate effectively.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in an automotive body shop or similar environment.
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop our team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing circumstances.
