Job Title: Customs Clearance Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our import operations team, you will be responsible for processing customs clearance and confirmations for repetitive and non-complex shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data entry and validation of customer information, credit, and invoicing.
- Collecting supplementary information or documentation from customers, drivers, customs, and other offices as required.
- Identifying customer profile discrepancies and resolving issues.
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to standard questions and requests from customers, drivers, customs, and other offices.
- Working collaboratively with clients, UPS SCS employees, carriers, and inbound agents to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in customs operations or a related field.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Bilingualism required - intermediate level (in Quebec Only).
- Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws, and regulations, as well as other government departments.
- Basic understanding of the HS system.
- Basic computer skills.
