Financial Director for Underground Hard Rock Operations

The Finance Director, Underground Hard Rock is a key strategic partner to the Sr. leadership team, providing in-depth financial guidance and analysis to support business decisions and growth initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of the global mining market, our mining customers' businesses, and our OEM operating models.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a business consultant to the hard rock organization, providing financial planning and results to inform critical business decisions.
- Develop and present business guidance and financial results to executive management through the Komatsu organization.
- Manage a finance team to ensure financial compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Participate in underground hard rock business and product line strategic planning, including acquisitions, cost reduction, and growth initiatives.
- Support general financial processing and reporting requirements through corporate processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial planning, consolidations, reporting, and analysis.
- Experience leading a team of finance professionals in business consultation and accounting requirements.
- Strong understanding of North American Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Strategic planning experience and extensive skills using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Background with SAP/BPC software required, OEM experience considered an asset.
- Previous experience working in a global matrix organization in a broad team an asset.
- Must be eligible to travel globally to customer and Komatsu facilities.
