We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Camino Taco. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring the highest quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Work Environment and Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, with a focus on culinary arts or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in kitchen operations and management.
- Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
