Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, high acuity environment. This role requires strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, quality patient-centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of Alberta Health Services (AHS).
  • Lead an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with inter-professional teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective nursing plans, utilizing evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring timely and efficient communication with healthcare teams.

Requirements:

  • Certified Registered Nurse (CRNA) registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
  • Completion of free courses: CRNA Medication Management - Chapters 1-4, NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification (if applicable).
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
  • Three to five years of nursing experience in acute care, including one to two years of recent Emergency and/or Critical Care experience.
  • Ambulatory cardiac monitoring skills and ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, EPIC certifications.
