Job Title: Community General Manager I

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Personal and Business Banking Team in delivering exceptional client experiences and driving business growth. As a Community General Manager, you'll be responsible for building a capable and motivated team, creating a positive work environment, and promoting CIBC's reputation in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of client-facing employees to deliver on CIBC's Purpose of helping clients achieve their ambitions.
  • Understand client needs and provide advice and solutions to meet their goals.
  • Build a strong reputation in the community through proactive talent management, effective operations, and compliance.
  • Monitor business performance and develop action plans to close gaps.
  • Collaborate with partners to maximize market opportunities and increase overall performance.
  • Manage and minimize risk to safeguard the bank, clients, and shareholders.
Requirements:
  • Current accreditation and good standing Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada).
  • Fluency in French and English to serve clients in the community.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
