- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure their best interests are met regarding contractual and technical issues.
- Identify new business opportunities within the existing client base.
- Review project specifications during initiation to address any concerns.
- Nurture new client relationships and coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors.
- Prepare bid submissions, including creating project timelines.
- Anticipate on-site needs for materials and communication.
- Assist with risk management planning and ensure resource allocation is correct.
- Monitor customer satisfaction throughout the project cycle.
- Enforce good work and safety practices.
- Oversee and manage sub-trades and suppliers.
- Manage head office staff effectively.
- A minimum of 10 years of on-site experience in structural and building envelope restoration of high-rise multi-residential buildings.
- A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
- An established contact list of clients, consultants, sub-trades, and suppliers.
- Specific technical experience includes the rehabilitation of exterior building envelopes, balconies, and guard rails, parking garages, interior renovations, and exterior landscape upgrades.
- A thorough understanding of residential building practices.
- Strong technical knowledge of restoration/construction projects.
- Able to manage and oversee the execution of various projects.
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Professional designations in engineering and project management are an asset.
