Senior Rebar Estimator Opportunity

AGF Rebar, a leading provider of reinforcing steel and post-tensioning solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Rebar Estimator to join our team in Port Coquitlam, BC.

About the Role

As a Senior Rebar Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating rebar quantities and job costs for commercial, industrial, and civil construction projects. You will work closely with our General Manager to ensure accurate and timely estimates, and will be expected to analyze project documents, takeoff reinforcing bar quantities, and estimate labor, equipment, and materials needed for each project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze project documents to prepare accurate cost and rebar estimates
  • Takeoff reinforcing bar quantities based on provided documents
  • Estimate labor, equipment, and materials needed for each project
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements
  • College diploma in civil engineering, estimating, or drafting
  • 3+ years of rebar takeoff experience
  • Autonomy, creativity, and flexibility
  • Experience using Google and Microsoft 365 platforms
