Job Summary

SUNRISE WETASKIWIN DAYCARE INC. is seeking a dedicated and caring Childcare Professional to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in the development and growth of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Engage children in storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts to foster their creativity and imagination.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Encourage children to express themselves through various forms of art, music, and physical activity.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
Certifications and Qualifications
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1)
  • Permanent Work Term
  • English Language
  • 30-35 hours per week
