Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy System Operations Specialist to join our team at Halliwell Consulting Corp.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Power Engineer 3rd or 4th Class with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to operate and maintain generators and equipment, monitor and inspect plant equipment, and perform troubleshooting and corrective actions.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of energy systems, including generators and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of plant equipment, valves, gauges, alarms, meters, and other instruments to identify potential issues and optimize performance.
  • Analyze instrument readings and equipment malfunctions to troubleshoot and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure system reliability.
Requirements
  • Must be a 3rd or 4th Class Power Engineer with a strong understanding of energy systems and operations.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics, with a strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is a must, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
