Job Title: Registered Care Aide - Acute Care

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional care to patients in a hospital setting? We are seeking a Registered Care Aide to join our team at Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre.

About the Role:
  • Work under the functional direction of a Registered Nurse or other designate to assist in the delivery of client care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Support patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Assist with vital signs, medication administration, and other clinical tasks.

Requirements:
  • Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
