Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Care Aide to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide resident care in accordance with our resident-centred care philosophy and established regional and facility policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing procedures such as taking temperature, pulse, and respiration
• Perform resident care duties relating to activities of daily living, including personal, social, physical, and recreational needs
• Transport residents and perform clerical duties

Shift Rotation/Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, Days, 07:00 to 12:00

Required Qualifications:
• Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience and registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry

Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
• Ability to deal with others effectively
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
• Ability to organize work
• Ability to operate related equipment
