Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Gastroenterology Specialist to join our team at the University of Alberta. This full-time tenure track position offers an exciting opportunity for academic growth, research, and teaching in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated to be in the range of $200,000 - $300,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Remuneration will be based on the income scale of a competitive and highly successful academic alternate funding plan.

Job Description

This role involves providing clinical care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, conducting research in pediatric gastroenterology, and teaching at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels. The successful applicant will join a multi-disciplinary health care team who primarily provide clinician care at the Stollery Children's Hospital and consultative service throughout the Edmonton Zone facilities.

Requirements
  • Completed subspecialty training in Pediatrics and subspecialty training in Pediatric Gastroenterology
  • Certified or eligible to become a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
