This is a 0.80 FTE opportunity that will provide you with the chance to work in a fast-paced environment and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in various clinical settings, both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

You will have the opportunity to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families, consult with other healthcare providers, and participate in continuous improvement and evidence-based practice in nursing. Additionally, you will maintain and advance your clinical competence, contribute to designated hospital committees/teams, and engage in approved research projects.

This relief part-time opportunity offers flexibility and variety, with shifts scheduled between days and nights. You will work alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

About this location/unit:
Nicola Valley Health Centre has an 11-bed ER and sees approximately 50-60 patients per day. Our Emergency department is open 24/7, staffed by two RNs, and provides a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment.

Merritt is a charming town located on the Coquihalla Highway, surrounded by rolling hills, sparkling lakes, and an abundance of outdoor recreational opportunities. With over 2,030 hours of sunshine every year, Merritt offers an excellent quality of life, low housing costs, and easy access to services and amenities.

We offer a competitive salary of $62-$82 per hour, commensurate with experience, as well as comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth and development within our organization.
