About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at Indigo. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Brampton Campus facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as building maintenance issues.
- Lead a team of maintenance staff to ensure ongoing operation of infrastructure systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with the IT Department to ensure the troubleshooting of DC networking, device repairs, and upgrades.
- Manage capital expenditure requests and budget proposals for maintenance projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant field experience.
- Strong technical understanding of conveyor peripherals, RF scanners, PLC's, and MHE.
- Strong mechanical and electrical background.
- Experience operating industrial trucks preferred.
- Background in supervision, planning/scheduling, and budgeting preferred.
