Building Operations Specialist

About the Role
The Building Operator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of facility systems, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, and providing routine and on-demand services on facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate facility systems and perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
- Perform work in accordance with established processes and practices and comply with internal and external requirements, including environmental, health and safety, and fire protection.
- Monitor and inspect facility systems, mechanical and electrical equipment, and perform regular maintenance to ensure facility uptime objectives are met.
- Provide observations and recommendations for enhancement and repair of facility systems and equipment.
- Respond to routine and on-demand service requests and perform maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
- Record and track maintenance and repair work in the service maintenance management database.
Requirements
- More than 4 years of facility operations and maintenance work experience.
- High school diploma plus trades training and certification or licensing.
- Advanced ability to adhere to and execute processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenance.
- Advanced ability to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical building systems and equipment.
- Advanced troubleshooting and resolution skills to determine and resolve building mechanical and electrical equipment and system issues.
