We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Georgetown Chrysler Dodge Jeep 2008 Ltd. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and controlling daily operations, evaluating daily performance, planning and organizing daily activities, and managing staff to ensure the smooth operation of our dealership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and control daily operations, including overseeing sales, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Evaluate daily performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Plan and organize daily activities, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities to team members.
  • Manage staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective teamwork and high-quality results.
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity, informing business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market conditions.
  • Implement pricing and credit policies, balancing revenue goals with customer satisfaction.
  • Select and procure merchandise for resale, negotiating prices and terms with suppliers.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, promoting products and services through various channels.
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, ensuring financial stability and growth.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply chain disruptions.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in operations management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in leading teams and achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, accounting software, and other business applications.
  • Green economy sector experience is an asset.
