Financial Manager, Impact Investing Portfolio

Indwell seeks a seasoned Financial Manager to oversee the growth and management of its impact investing portfolio. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the financial health and integrity of our loan and bond funds.

With over 50 years of experience, we continue to thrive and grow exponentially, serving over 1,200 tenants across Ontario.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to lead all aspects of our impact investing portfolio, including financial management and oversight, fund strategy and growth, compliance and risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Financial Management & Oversight: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reporting systems and processes, ensuring proper documentation and monitoring of all fund-related transactions.
- Fund Strategy & Growth: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategies for sustainable fund growth and effective investment of resources, conducting financial modeling and risk analysis to support decision-making.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements for loan and bond funds, developing risk management policies and procedures specific to fund management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with investors, community partners, and relevant stakeholders, providing transparent communication regarding fund performance and progress.
To succeed in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, as well as a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance or fund management. Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities, proficiency in financial management software and reporting tools, and excellent communication skills are essential.
