About the Role

PowerUp Sports, a leading provider of soccer league management platforms, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Partnership & Sales Team, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with amateur sports organizations across Canada and the US.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the amateur sports industry, including provincial governing bodies and community sports clubs.
  • Solution Selling: Leverage solution-selling tactics to identify and recommend innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Prospecting and Sales: Utilize traditional and digital prospecting tactics to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
  • Customer Management: Work closely with customers to manage deployment and ensure successful adoption of our solutions.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: 3+ years of B2B and/or strategic sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in amateur sports, entertainment, and working with community organizations is highly desirable.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Undergraduate BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience, strong ownership and bias for action, self-starter with a professional demeanor and presence, ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals, and proven ability to influence others and display strong leadership skills.
