We are seeking a skilled Community Mental Health Worker 2 to join our Mental Health Substance Use/injectable Opioid Agonist Treatment (iOAT) department at the Outreach Urban Health Centre in Kelowna, B.C.

Job Summary:

This is a permanent part-time (0.64 FTE) position that requires a Community Mental Health Worker 2 to provide support services to individuals with severe opioid use disorder (OUD) who have been refractory to treatment with oral opioid agonist therapy (OAT).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support services to individuals with severe OUD in a structured, supervised clinical setting.
  • Administer doses of injectable opioid agonist treatment in a safe and clean environment.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide primary care, mental health care, and psychosocial services.
  • Support individuals in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life.
