We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Housekeeping Director to join our team at Tofino Resort + Marina Inc.

About the Role

The Executive Housekeeping Director is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department, ensuring that all hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and direct a team of housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure seamless operation of the department
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to prevent stockouts and ensure efficient operations
  • Coordinate inspections of assigned areas to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate better rates and services
  • Analyze financial data to optimize departmental budget and reduce costs
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role or related field
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, guests, and vendors
  • High school graduation certificate and/or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
