Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for coordinating, performing, and evaluating diagnostic services examinations within various modalities and disciplines. You will guide and direct clinical and technical associates and students in a teaching and research environment, providing patient care within the core values of respect, caring, innovation, and accountability.

The Diagnostic Services team at Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation supports a high volume of diverse adult and pediatric patients and families, providing service in most areas 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Diagnostic Services includes X-Ray, CT Scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET, Ultrasound, and Interventional Radiology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, perform, and evaluate diagnostic services examinations
  • Guide and direct clinical and technical associates and students
  • Provide patient care within the core values of respect, caring, innovation, and accountability
  • Work in a team environment to support a high volume of patients and families

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved training program in Radiological Technology
  • Current member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologist of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience preferred
  • Interventional Radiography course preferred, CAMRT 1 & 2, including certificate
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) registration
  • Membership in the CAMRT/OAMRT preferred
