Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to join our team at Miller Paving Limited (HO). As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting our business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in month-end closing and account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare forecasts and budgets, analyzing trends in sales, finance, and general business conditions to inform strategic decisions.
  • Support business unit cash flow forecasting to optimize resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze and conduct research in financial and expense performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement special financial and business-related studies to drive business growth.
  • Consult with responsible personnel to determine causes of variances and recommend corrective action.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze complex financial issues to provide recommendations for policies, controls, or action.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required to support business needs.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in accounting, finance, or business and 3+ years' relevant experience in FP&A, creating and analyzing financial reports in a large organization.
    • Experience working with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
    • Self-directed and highly motivated, with the decisiveness and flexibility necessary to operate successfully in a rapidly changing environment.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, etc.
