At Manitoba Health, we are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre in Steinbach, MB.

Estimated Salary: $350,000 - $450,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Overview

The Bethesda Regional Health Centre is a 21-bed Emergency Department that operates 24/7 with a minimum of one physician on site at all times. We offer a variety of shift lengths, including 6, 8, and 12 hours, with opportunities for part-time EFTs and casual shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care as a member of our dynamic Emergency Medicine team
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and families
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence

Requirements

  • Medical Degree with post-graduate training in Family Medicine or Royal College Certification in Emergency Medicine
  • Current licensure or eligibility for full license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
  • Procedural Sedation and Point-of-Care Ultrasound (PoCUS) skills
