Opportunity to Contribute to AMD's Next-Generation Innovations

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Development engineering intern/co-op to join our team. In this role, you will support Product Development Engineers in characterization and building production test programs through parametric, data, and statistical analysis. You will also perform engineering and correlation studies to ensure yield, coverage, and meet target goals to initiate production ramp.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Product Development Engineers in characterization and building production test programs
  • Perform engineering and correlation studies to ensure yield, coverage, and meet target goals
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve production-related issues and improve efficiency
  • Build and maintain technical documents, debug manufacturing and characterization test programs for next-generation AMD microprocessors
  • Participate in Product debug and characterization to identify product performance, process, and test sensitivities
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Canada-based University in a Bachelor's degree program majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge/experience with technical skills such as C++, Linux, Perl, Ruby, Shell script, Java, or similar
  • Experience with GIT, SVN, CVS, RCS, or similar
  • Knowledge of XP, AGILE, Scrum, or Kanban programming paradigms
  • Understanding of transistors and computer basics
  • Courses in computer science, software engineering, digital logic, circuit theory, and computer architecture
