Courier Delivery Specialist

BEESEE Couriers Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled Courier Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand. Your duties will include accepting payment or invoices for items delivered, receiving and relaying information to central dispatch, and keeping a record of items received and delivered. You will also be responsible for preparing, packaging, and restocking goods, sorting packages for delivery, and following directions and reading maps. Additionally, you will use maps and other trip planning aids to ensure efficient delivery routes. This is a permanent position, and you will work 30 to 40 hours per week. If you have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and some experience, you may be a good fit for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
  • Accept payment or invoices for items delivered
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Keep a record of items received and delivered
  • Prepare, package, and restock goods
  • Sort packages for delivery
  • Follow directions and read maps
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids
  • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
