**Job Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Specialist to join our consulting team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to design and manage group medical, dental, life, disability and special risk benefits.

You will be responsible for performing annual renewal analysis and negotiations with carriers, as well as preparing client reports and presentations. You will also work closely with internal consulting teams to ensure that all aspects of the benefits program are managed effectively.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and manage group benefits for clients.
  • Perform annual renewal analysis and negotiate with carriers.
  • Prepare client reports and presentations.
  • Complete experience reporting, budget projections and review plan financial performance.
  • Determine cost impact for plan design changes.
  • Support the consulting team in preparing documents for client presentations and meetings.

**Requirements:**

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, mathematics or related disciplines.
  • 3+ years' experience in analyst or related role.
  • Advanced competency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands in order to meet client and company needs.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Sensitivity to confidential information.
