Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Fusion Technician at EMCO Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the fusion welding of HDPE pipe and providing exceptional service to our Utility, Infrastructure, Energy, Industrial, and Mining markets in Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel throughout Saskatchewan to perform fusion welding services.
  • Work extended days and overtime to meet project deadlines.
  • Operate and maintain fusion equipment for HDPE pipe sizes ranging from 1/2" to 65".
  • Maintain company vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with customers to schedule rentals and sales.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to facilitate schedules and deadlines.
  • Work independently in remote areas and as part of a team-based environment.
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload products for shipping and receiving in the warehouse.
  • Support the Inside Sales team with customer fusion requests and product deliveries to job sites.

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
  • Strong organizational, computer, and communication skills.
  • Focus on customer service and a self-starter mentality.
  • Ability to work in the pipe yard and warehouse in any weather condition.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving abstract.
  • High school degree with proof of completion and no industry experience required.
