Job Title: Long Haul Driver

RHS Trucking Ltd. is seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Driver to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Long Haul Driver to transport goods and materials across various locations. The ideal candidate will have a Class 1/1F/A Licence and experience with semi-trailer trucks. The role involves professionalism in customer service, load and unload goods, and operate and drive straight or articulated trucks.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Medical exam
Work Environment:

The Long Haul Driver will work in a fast-paced environment, transporting goods and materials across various locations. The ideal candidate will be willing to relocate and have a valid driver's licence.
