MDR Transportation Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, working as part of a two-person team or convoy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, often away from home for extended periods. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work in various weather conditions, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
