Electrical Engineer for EV Power Unit Integration

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at BRP, a world leader in recreational vehicles and boats. As an Electrical Engineer for EV Power Unit Integration, you will play a key role in developing and designing high-voltage powertrain components and integrating them into various vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure technical compliance of electrical components and systems
- Define priorities for electrical validation and testing
- Follow up on electrical component integration and assembly
- Develop and maintain technical requirement specifications and validation plans
- Participate in design for manufacturability (DFMA) analysis
- Organize project follow-up and technical coordination with suppliers
- Manage internal commissioning and validation of electrical components
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering
- Experience with electrical simulation tools, 3D electrical/electromagnetic simulations, and electrical drawing tools
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in power electronics design, electrical/electronic simulation, and/or EMC design
- Good knowledge of CAN communication protocols and EVSE to OBC communications
- Strong proficiency in French and English (written and spoken)
